Hello all,

Welcome to our honeymoon registry! A what?! It's a registry that allows you to give us experiences on our honeymoon as gifts.

Getting married in our thirties, we already have the linens and dishes that make up a more traditional wedding registry. We hope this registry will give you a chance to treat us to something you know we both love - great outdoor adventures!

We're dearly looking forward to our first big adventure as a married couple. We have chosen New Zealand as our destination, home of gorgeous mountains, beautiful national parks, and, of course, warm and fuzzy sheep! In keeping with our shared love of being active outdoors, we've compiled a list of adventures that we'd love to go on in New Zealand - from cycling and kayaking to swimming with dolphins! We've also added a few opportunities for pampering and indulgence.

We're excited about taking pictures of each gifted experience a long the way and sharing them with you when we get home.

Can't wait to see you all at the wedding!

Forget backpacking food! Treat us to a gourmet picnic dinner right on the beach, during our overnight kayaking trip.

Day 1: It's a long trip from Christchurch to Queenstown! Upgrade us to real touring bikes for our epic adventure down the coast and over the alps.
Gift Fulfilled
Day 2: 80 miles from Hokitika down the coast to Franz Josef. Upgrade us from the dorm-style bunk bed-filled rooms at the backpackers' (that's what the kiwis call hostels!) to our own private room. Ahem. Private Room. Ahem.
Gift Fulfilled
Day 3: 90 miles of gorgeous riding down the coast from Franz Josef to Haast. We'd love to book another private room at the backpackers' instead of semi-private or dorm. (ps: doesn't Haast look gorgeous!?)
Gift Fulfilled
Day 4: After 85 miles of cycling over the southern alps with 4000 feet of climbing, our weary bodies would be ecstatic to sleep in a cushy hotel bed! Treat us to a nice hotel for our last night out on the road.
Gift Fulfilled
Day 5: The final leg of our cycling adventure is from Wanaka to Queenstown. Help us start our last day of riding off right with a proper breakfast.
Gift Fulfilled
We'll probably eat pretty simply for most of the cycling trip. But one of these little towns has to have a nice restaurant, right? Perhaps with some NZ lamb! Treat us to hard-earned romantic dinner (we'll even change out of our spandex!).
Gift Fulfilled
Something to look forward to while we cycle down the coast: a recovery soak in this onsen (Japanese-style hot springs) with gorgeous mountain views near Queenstown. (ps: that's the real view!)
Gift Fulfilled
The perfect way to recover from 5 days of cycling: "Tension Relief for Trampers... Focusing mainly on the legs and back this treatment incorporates generous amounts of hot oil, heated wheat packs..." (Trampers is Kiwi for hikers)
