Hi friends and family!

Welcome to our honeymoon registry! We want to take this opportunity to thank you guys for taking the time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us on our big day! We are so excited to share this day with you and it means the world to us that you'll be there to support us in becoming husband and wife.

When we started looking into an appropriate registry, we realized that we already own most of the household items that we need. After all, the memories from this honeymoon will last a lot longer than a new set of wine glasses (especially at Mike's breakage rate!). We know that this isn't your ordinary wedding registry, but we both wanted something that was uniquely us; something that reflected what we love to do. So we decided that the perfect way to start our new adventure as husband and wife is with a romantic getaway to the northern California coastline. We know that this trip will not only celebrate the start of our new life together, but will create life-long memories as well. We love the ocean and northern California holds a special place in our hearts. We're looking forward to some time to unwind in nature and we also have some fun activities planned while we're out there!

We are so grateful that you all can help us create honeymoon memories that will last a lifetime! We have tons of amazing things planned for our trip as you will see when you check out the details of our honeymoon. We will definitely share lots of pictures with all of you when we get back.

We're going to Northern California!

We'll be staying in a vacation home in the redwoods, near the ocean just north of Jenner, CA. We're looking forward to the beautiful views and getting out in nature. We'll be making day trips to the Redwood Forest for some amazing hikes and we'll definitely be sure to make some time to drive to Sonoma for some fabulous wine tours and San Francisco for some museum tours.

Here's a sneak peak of our travel plans so you know what we'll be up to:

9/25 - We'll hit the road early for this scenic 9 hour drive up the coast and we'll make it to northern California by dinner time!
9/26 - We will start our day with a trip into Sebastopol for all of our grocery shopping needs. We'll spend the rest of the day checking out the local sights.
9/27 & 9/28 - These will be a hiking days for us.
9/29 - We'll have a romantic adventure horseback on the beach.
9/30 & 10/1 - We'll probably do a couple of hikes.
10/2 - We'll stick close to the house and maybe even have a picnic on the beach.
10/3 - Museum day in San Francisco. Plenty of them are free the first Tuesday of the month.
10/4 - Wine tours and exploring Sonoma.
10/5 - We'll spend our last day hanging out in Jenner or Bodega Bay.
10/6 - Time to head back to reality.

After a 14 hour drive, we'll make a quick pit stop at Stumptown Brewery in Guerneville for a couple of burgers and a cold one before we arrive at our vacation rental.

We LOVE to cook together, which is one of the biggest perks of not staying in hotels. So we'll be hitting up the local grocery store to load up on lots of yummy food for our stay.

After our long trek, we'll be so excited to get to our vacation rental among the redwoods so we can get a good night of rest. We're so excited that this will be our home for the next twelve days!

We thought we'd mingle with the locals and grab a cup of coffee and some breakfast with them a few times at Cafe Aquatica in Jenner.

The last time we were in the area we had a wonderful dinner at the Bistro des Copains in Occidental. It was such a wonderful restaurant and we'd love to get another taste of this fantastic find.

We'll need to refuel after a day of hiking and we can't think of anything better for lunch then to stop and enjoy a sandwich and maybe an italian soda at Basque Boulangerie Cafe in Sonoma.

We'll be trying breakfast at the "must stop" Howard's Cafe in Occidental before heading in to San Francisco for a day packed full of museum exploring.

The top of our San Francisco museum list is the California Academy of Sciences, we'll explore several exhibits that range from an aquarium, planetarium and even a rain forest! We'll snag some lunch at one of the many amazing restaurants in the city.

We'll jog to Timber Cove Inn for breakfast at Alexander's a few times during our stay. With it only being a mile away and situated right on the ocean, who could resist?!

We are big fans of wine and it would be a shame if we didn't do some wine tastings. We'll be headed to some wineries in the Sonoma area and taking in the beautiful weather and views. Plus, we'll probably want to take a bottle or two home with us! :)

Since we're such huge fans of food, we really want to try the fine dining and a bottle of wine at Cafe La Haye.
