We are so very excited for our honeymoon in Kauai! This place has a very special place in our hearts. When we first started dating, Jessica was in Kauai with her family and kept venturing off to find cell phone reception to talk to Shawn. There her parents began questioning who was this man that was beginning to steal her heart. We are very outdoorsy and love adventure so we couldn't think of somewhere better to spend our week creating life long memories. We can't wait to hike, snorkle, paddle board, swim, and lay by the pool relaxing. It will be so much fun to try new restaurants, go on romantic dates, experience local farmers markets, and maybe even burn a steak or two on the BBQ. We can't wait to share our photos and memories with you. Thank you for being apart of our marriage kick-off celebrations!
We're going to Kauai, Hawaii!
Itinerary:
We are staying at Wauipouli Beach Resort in the town of Kapaa for our 10 day honeymoon! Our resort is walking distance to a few restaurants and grocery stores and equiped with a several mile long running trail along the ocean that we hope to enjoy a few mornings during our stay. We can't wait to relax and have drinks by the pool at Oasis by the Sea and enjoy swimming in the condo's gorgeous canal pool. We have trips planned to the Waimea Canyon to explore the beautiful landscape and grotto, Hanalei Bay to do some paddle boarding, an 8 mile hike to Hanakapi'ai Falls on the Na Pali coastline in search of secluded beaches and spectacular waterfalls, and some off-roading in our jeep to walk and snorkle at some of the most seculed beaches in Kauai. We also hope to partake in a luau, zip lining, and other various adventures as we explore around the island and replenish lost calories by romantic and fun dates tasting local island cuisine.
Life is about having millions of little moments, memories and experiences and Shawn and I can't wait to kick off our marriage with fun and happiness. We couldn't be more thankful for our time together so far and can't wait to create more happy memories as time goes on.
