Hi! Thanks for taking a peek at our honeymoon registry, and more importantly, thank you for being a part of the celebration of our marriage. Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for, and we are thrilled and so deeply appreciative at the idea of getting to celebrate with you in person. We are so excited and so blessed by the outpouring of love and support we have received during this happy time.

We are already bursting at the seams in our condo with the "essential" home items a newly engaged couple typically needs. However, we are really looking forward to sneaking away together after our big day to the mountains for some snowboarding and relaxation... one of our favorite things to do together. This trip, however, will be our first adventure as husband and wife, and it is because of the lifetime of memories that we will gain from this trip that we decided on a honeymoon registry. We will greatly appreciate and fondly remember these gifts for years to come.

We're going to Whistler, BC, Canada!

Our ultimate destination following the wedding will be Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. We will fly to Seattle, WA where we will board the Amtrak Cascades train for an incredibly scenic ride along Puget Sound and the bays of Washington on the way to Vancouver, BC. Once in Vancouver, we will take Pacific Coach Lines' SkyLynx bus, which will travel the Sea to Sky Highway to the resort village of Whistler Blackcomb (and yes, the site of the 2010 Winter Olympics).

In Whistler, we will stay at the slopeside Westin Resort & Spa located in walkable Whistler Village, which is full of shops and restaurants. The resort encompasses two mountains: Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain, which are linked by the world record breaking PEAK 2 PEAK gondola that spans the 2.7 miles between the peaks of the mountains at nearly 1,500 feet above the valley below. Snowboarding will be our main activity, but we also plan to make time for the other fun things Whistler has to offer (as well as enjoy its cuisine and cozy mountain atmosphere!).

We could not be more excited for this trip. We have never been to Whistler before and can't wait to experience it... and to eat, drink, and be married!
