Hi! Welcome to our honeymoon page. As you know both Nathan and I are both avid snowboarders. Our first date was an adventure riding in Wolf Creek, Colorado. Neither one of us have been to Vail, We would love to spend our honeymoon snowboarding there and in surrounding areas (Araprahoe Basin and Breckinridge). We are waiting to take our honeymoon because we both have a love for the mountains and the snow , we couldn't think of anything better than celebrating our new marriage exploring the peaks of Colorado. If you would like to help make our honeymoon dreams come true there are a variety of options you can choose from in making us have a honeymoon that goes down in history.

We're going to Vail, Breckinridge, Crested Butte, Telluride!

We will be driving to Vail where we will stay there for two nights. After riding 2 days in Vail we will take a break in Breckinridge. We will be staying the remainder of our trip there where we will also snowboard Kachina Peak in Araprahoe Basin and also hoping to get some back country action. We will head south to Crested Butte then to Telluride, Silverton where we will do the Heli-drop and head back home....

Vail was founded as a ski resort in 1962, incorporated as a town in 1966 and became a Home Rule Charter in 1972. With world renowned skiing, diverse shops and restaurants, luxurious accommodations, friendly neighborhoods and breath-taking mountain views, Vail is arguably the finest resort destination in the world.

Arapahoe Basin pioneered the early days of Colorado Skiing with the first ski lifts opening in 1946. Since then the lifts have been modernized but one thing still remains the same, is the outstanding skiing with an average of over 30 feet of snowfall each year. With so much snow, and Arapahoe Basin's high elevation, skiing at the 'Basin' normally lasts until mid June! Arapahoe Basin expanded by 80% in 2008 with the opening of Montezuma Bowl adding 34 intermediate and advanced runs. The skiing and snowboarding at Arapahoe Basin is truly legendary.

From the thrill of deep fluffy powder to the gentle rolling of a corduroy cruiser, at Breckinridge Ski Resort you get big altitude with just the right attitude. Consistently ranked as one of the Top 10 Ski Resorts in North America, Breckenridge offers huge variety throughout its 2,358 acres of terrain. Breck is skiing and riding euphoria, to say the least.

Four breathtaking mountain peaks top-off the Ten Mile Range and overflow with options for both the most hungry skier and the more eager beginner. Whether you crave the adrenaline rush of steep chutes or the grandeur of wide open bowls, this mountain playground provides all you want and more.

Crested Butte is located in southwest Colorado, within the Gunnison National Forest and the Elk Mountain Range of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The resort lies in the town of Mt. Crested Butte, three miles from the town of Crested Butte, one of Colorado's largest National Historic Districts, originally settled in the 1880s as a mining supply camp.

Silverton Mountain is a unique mountain experience. There is one chairlift that takes you into a high alpine environment surrounded by amazing ski lines in every direction. The terrain is entirely for the advanced and expert skier and those who enjoy adventure. There are loads of bowls, chutes, cliffs and wonderful natural terrain features to be discovered during a visit to Silverton Mountain. It is the highest Ski Area in North America with a peak of 13,487’ and it is also the steepest with no easy way down.

Telluride, with it's historic buildings, quaint bakeries and local watering holes blend with luxury hotels, world-class restaurants, sophisticated shops and spas. There’s no traffic or long lines for shuttle buses, and in most cases no driving after you’ve arrived, as Telluride’s free gondola is the main source of transportation.
