Hello everybody,
Aren't y'all happy that we are finally getting hitched? I know our moms are ecstactic.
We wanted to have a honeymoon registry for many reasons, the least of which is that we already have enough stuff. We treasure experiences more than material things. We would much rather surf down the side of a volcano than recieve flatware. We have lived together for a while and we already have just the right amount of household items.
Going to Nicaragua is our dream trip that we would never normally be able to experience without your support to our honeymoon registry. We've been wanting to go to Nicaragua for a few years now and this is the perfect opportunity.
Come to our wedding and enjoy a real Nashville experience including local bluegrass, wonderful food, family and friends.

We're going to Isla de Ometepe, Nicaragua!

We are super excited to explore Nicaragua. We wanted to choose a honeymoon destination that is as unique as we are. We choose Nicaragua for its interesting culture, beautiful volcanoes, and also because it will be warm in November. There are many cool things we can do there from surfing down the side of a volcano to kayaking some of the 300 islands in Lake Nicaragua.

Our adventure starts by flying into Managua and catching a ferry out to Las Isletas where we will be staying on a secluded island at the Jicaro Ecolodge. Amongst other activities we will be enjoying a moonlight dinner on the banks of the lake and other romantic and relaxing excursions.

Next, we will travel south within the lake to Isla de Ometepe. Here we will stay at Totoco Eco-Lodge where we will hike one of the two volcanoes on the island and enjoy a refreshing dip in a natural spring at its peak.

We will end our trip at San Juan del Sur on the coast of the Pacific Ocean at Casa del Soul. Here we will take surfing lessons and relax on the beautiful beaches.

To protect our very, very pale skin, we need some sunblock. Preferably waterproof and sweatproof and the higher the SPF, the better! (Bal is a redhead and Sarah is paler than pale, need we say more?)
