Welcome! We're so glad you were curious enough to check out our honeymoon registry.

First we'd just like to say how very excited we are to be sharing our special day with you and yours. December seems like a long way off right now, but we have such a busy year ahead of us that the time is bound to fly.

Now that the church has been booked, the reception hall selected and the Save-the-Dates sent, we've started dreaming up some fantastic honeymoon plans. After a long debate about the destination, we decided on New York City. We hear it's fabulous at Christmastime!

We're looking forward to spending our first week as husband and wife in a place that has always been special to us. The first trip we ever took as a couple (way back in '09) was to see the American Museum of Natural History, with a quick stopover at the Guggenheim. In 2011, we took a two-day vacation to the Big Apple for Walker's birthday. We met a Rockette, got our shoes muddy in Central Park and made it through about half of the Met. Third time's the charm - on our super romantic New York honeymoon, we'll finally be able to give this amazing American city all of the time and attention it deserves.

We can't wait to do all of the fun NYC things we never had enough time for on our previous trips. If you'd like to make a contribution to this once-in-a-lifetime experience, we'll forever be grateful for the memories you'll help us make. That being said, we're also totally psyched about toasters and towels, if that's more your style.

We're going to New York City!

After our awesome wedding on Friday and some much-needed rest on Saturday, we'll fly to New York on Sunday, December 23rd. We're staying in the Fashion District, just off 7th Avenue. As you can see below, our week is pretty packed with exciting activities. Suggestions are welcome, too! We'll head back to Chicago on the 28th - just in time to escape the New Year's Eve crowds (and hotel rates!)

LUNCH AT THE BRONX ZOO :: If the weather's exceptional, we'll pack a picnic. If not, a portion of all purchases made in the zoo supports the work of the Wildlife Conservation Society.

TICKETS TO SEE EVITA ON BROADWAY :: Sam nearly fainted from excitement when she learned that EVITA was coming back to Broadway. No week in New York would be complete without a night at the theatre, and this is absolutely the show for us.
