Hi! We're so glad you decided to visit our TravelersJoy registry to help us live the dream of a unique, well planned, relaxing honeymoon. If you know anything about us, we are constantly on the go. If it wasn't for our extreme sense of adventure, willingness to try new things, and ability to surround ourselves with different cultures, we wouldn't be the people we are today.

To say the least, we are beyond excited to take this trip and enjoy each others company, bask in the glow of being newlyweds, and drink lots and lots of wine. Take a minute to browse our wish list while in France and Italy, and please do not hesitate to ask us any questions about our trip, hotels, etc. Since we are avid photographers, we'll be sure to take a photo of us doing each of these items and tag you on the things you help us accomplish.

We're going to Paris, France; Florence, Italy!

We leave from New York City (JFK) on Tuesday, September 10th. We take a red-eye over to Paris (CDG) and land at around 8:30am. We will have 3 full days to experience the beautiful, romantic city that is Paris. We then leave Friday night to head to Florence, Italy. We may take a sleeper train or fly - we haven't quite decided. Once we get into Florence, we have 2 nights to wine and dine before we head out on a 5 day Cycling Tour of Tuscany. We are so excited to not only bike our way through the breath taking scenery of Italy, but also enjoy wine from some of the finest vineyards along the way.

Train Tickets - We will be taking a train from Paris to Florence. This is the best way for us to travel as we will still be able to see all the sites along the way. A great gift indeed!

The final stay in Paris - Hotel Plaza Athenee. We have 2 nights left in Paris before we head back to NYC. We heard it is one of the most beautiful hotels in Paris with divine food, comfy rooms, stunning cocktails, and kind staff. A treat.

Dinner @ Buca dell'Orafo. According to Giada De Laurentiis, this is the best meal she's ever had in Italy. We'd love to recreate her favorite meal, consisting of: Carciofi fritti, giant asparagus, ravioli with cheese in a light cream sauce. Yum!

Flight from Florence --> Paris. We will have 2 final nights in Paris before we leave to head back to the big apple. Luckily, a flight from Florence to Paris is a quick 1.5 hours and super easy.
