Hi everyone,

Welcome to our honeymoon page. As Rosie has most kitchen items that exist we've decided to create an alternative option from our traditional gift registry and let you help us enjoy a wonderful honeymoon. You can contribute towards any of the ideas we've come up with below or be creative and give us some ideas of your own.

We're going to Hawaii (Kaua'i & Maui)!

We're off to Hawaii - another of the 50 states to cross off our list

First we will go to the Island of Kauaʻi (or Kauai) which is the oldest of the main Hawaiian Islands. The island is 552 square miles and is the fourth largest of the main islands.
It is famous for being where majority of stunning scenes from Jurassic Park was filmed and is known as the Garden Isle. It is also famous for its wild chickens with no predators. So Rosie will feel at home.

Next off to Maui for more beautiful beaches including black volcanic sand beach, sunrise bike rides down a volcano and one of the most beautiful road tours to Hana in our rented car.

Jeep Rental for the Road to Hana - The Hāna Highway runs along the east coast of Maui, curving around many mountains and passing by black sand beaches and waterfalls.

Sunrise bike ride down Haleakala volcano with guided tour. Yes we have to get up at 2am so we can see the sunrise from summit but at least its 99% downhill ride!

I think its obligatory to see a Lu'au so we have found one near our hotel. The Luau in Poipu starts with the sound of the pu kani (conch shell) to greet all guests then the Polynesia songs and dances begin.

Rosie wants to enjoy a Pohaku (warm stone) massage for 80minutes - apparently the healing energy of Kauai's 'aina (land) stones, warmed in organic (!?) oils will help my therapist relieve tension.
