Thank you for taking the time to view our registry page!! After much debate and research, we have decided to go to Aspen Colorado for our honeymoon. Snowboarding, sledding and hot cocoa by a fire will definitely be a change from the summer nights and warm sandy beaches of Miami. While we understand registering for a honeymoon is slightly unconventional, Robbie & I have found we actually have quite a lot of "home essentials" a newlywed couple may need. We hope you find this registry as a way to help us make our first adventure as husband and wife be a dream come true. It is important you know that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be at our wedding is something we deeply appreciate in our hearts, and we are so thrilled that you will be able to celebrate this important day with us. Below is a list of different activities we have decided to do during our stay in Aspen, from the flight out to the hotel stay, ice skating, and a dinner date. If you chose to gift we hope you find a selection as unique as you.

We're going to Aspen Colorado!

ASPEN
Aspen is located in the Rocky Mountains, and is one of largest cities in Colorado. At an elevation of roughly 8,000 feet, it is about 200 miles southwest of Denver. The city sits along the upper end of the Roaring Fork Valley, along the Roaring Fork River. Aspen has a variety of lodging, shopping and attractions that caters to a range of budgets. They pride there self in preserving culture and heritage.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE FALL
Aspen’s fall weather is generally warm and dry, it is possible to see snow fall however as they do get cold fronts!!. During the day the weather usually falls between 60-70 degrees. A sweater, coat, and toastie shoes are advised!! :)

Bang! featured on food networks' diners drive-ins and dives. A quaint little mom and pop that puts a spin on comfort foods. On our way to aspen from Denver this is just what we need after an afternoon of driving.

On our way to the hotel from the airport a small diversion. FREE tour of Hammond's candy factory. This iconic candy has been around for generations we are so exited to be apart of history, A wonderful souvenir to bring home for our family & friends!!

Cache Cache Bistro, What can only be described (by reviews) as a 5 star dining experience, one of the few restaurant in aspen serving French cuisine. WE feel this will be the perfect ending to our night.

Poppycock Cafe, a lively breakfast nook established in 1971. They are famous for there Oatmeal Buttermilk Pancakes. YUM!!

Penny Hot Springs is a naturally flowing hot spring, it's a 45 minute drive from aspen, The waters can reach temperatures of up to 130 degrees. The springs is free to the public. This will be the perfect time for a scenic picnic.

Peaches corner cafe is a perfect spot for lunch. They serve a variety of different food using fresh organic ingredients. They are famous for there pastries ;)

Aspen highlands, the snowboarding capitol of the world.....yikes. This price includes the lift to the mountain, all the equipment, and the lesson (the very long most likely painful lesson)

Silver circle Ice rink-Ice skating is so much fun!! With an out door ice rink we get to enjoy the scenery while we skate around and drink hot cocoa.

Woddy creek Tavern, The menu seems to be BBQ oriented, although something tells me the locals don't just go for the good eats! There are wall to wall artifacts and Christmas lights on the roof. One thing is clear, the Tavern is not conventional
