Hi everyone!

First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is a gift in and of itslf. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate, and we are excited to be able to celebrate our new family with you.

Recently, we merged our two households. Doing so we realized that over the years we have each acquired many of the items typically found on a wedding registry. Our kitchen is nearly stocked, we have more towels than we know what to do with, and we hope to buy a bigger house in the next year or two.

Also, since we have started dating we have taken a number of mini-family vacations, and we have plans to take the kids to many, many more places. However, we are also very anxious to explore the world as an adult couple, not just as a mom and dad!

Going to Paris has long been a dream for both of us. When we first started talking about getting married, we thought about the many places that we could go for a honeymoon. Skiing in Canada...Caribbean Beaches...New York City....One night we watched the movie, "Midnight in Paris." As soon as the movie started we turned to each other, half-jokingly and said, "Paris! We are honeymooning in Paris!" What started out as a half-joke, was confirmed when Jeff proposed in a French themed cabin this past February. From that point on, we have been determined to get to Paris for our honeymoon.

We have just started the planning process. We are aiming to go to Paris either during our winter break (late December 2012) or spring break (March 2013). We hope to soon buy our plane tickets and book an apartment for a full 7 day stay in the city of lights. We hope that this honeymoon registry will help us make this trip truly unforgettable and allow us to experience aspects of Paris that we wouldn't get to otherwise.
