Hello Wonderful Friends and Family!
Thanks for checking out our honeymoon registry!
Although it is a less traditional registry, we thought it would be a fun way to share our plans and allow our friends and family the option to contribute to a trip we will never forget!
Our love and passion for traveling is one of the first things that brought us together, and we hope that as we move forward as husband and wife it will continue to be a significant part of our life together. What better way to kick that off then by taking our honeymoon in a region of the world neither of us have ever been to, Central America! We zeroed in on Belize after discovering it had the perfect blend of adventure, exploration, romance and of course relaxation.
While there we look forward to 8 fun filled days of hiking, biking, horseback riding, kayaking, snorkeling, cave tubing, and Mayan ruin exploring --- did we mention that it would be relaxing?? Let's be honest, we will be in an amazing region of the world - 4 days in the tropical jungle filled with Mayan Ruins and 4 days on the coast near the world's second largest barrier reef - of course we are going to do as much adventuring as possible!! But we also do look forward to taking a break and relaxing during a couple's massage, at pool and beach, and maybe even in our own private jacuzzi in our garden suite!
Thank you for any contribution you can make to help us hike with monkeys, tube through some river caves, have a romantic candlelight dinner, explore Mayan ruins and try to figure out if the world will really end in December, snorkel along a vibrant reef, have a couple's massage, bike along the lagoon while searching for manatees, dance the night away at a local bar, and of course even make it to our destination.
We love you all and can't wait to celebrate with you in October!!!!

We're going to San Ignacio and Placencia, Belize!
We are very excited to announce that we will be going to Belize for our honeymoon! We will fly in and out of Belize City, but we will be splitting our time between San Igancio and Placencia.
San Ignacio, which is inland near the border of Guatemala, is a small town in the lush jungle. San Igancio is on the Macal River and near many Mayan Ruins and Nature Preserves. That portion of the trip we will be packing in the adventure as we hope to explore the Mayan, go cave tubing, horseback riding and take lots of nature hikes through the jungle.
On the coast we decided on Plancencia and will be staying at Robert's Grove Beach Resort. Placencia Village is on the tip of Placencia Peninsula on the south coast of Belize. On one side is the Caribbean and on the other side is the Placencia Lagoon home to dolphins and manatees. Placencia is located near the healthiest and most vibrant sections of the Belize Barrier Reef (second largest in the world). We look forward to relaxing on the beach, biking, snorkeling, and kayaking. Placencia Village is also a vibrant town full of local culture with great restaurants and live music.
