Days 1-4 — Hawaii, Hawaii (The Big Island)

We’ll be staying in a coffee farm house located on the historic Mamalahoa highway on the Kona Coffee Belt. The farm is 1200 ft above sea-level on the slopes of Hualalai Volcano (dormant) with unobstructed breathtaking 180-degree views of Kona and the vast Pacific Ocean.


Days 4-6 — Oahu, Hawaii

Before “roughing it” in Kauai, we’ll be sinking into luxury at the Prince Waikiki Hotel in Honolulu. We’re excited to stay in an Oceanfront Club room with a daily breakfast buffet for 2 and access to the Club Lounge. This poolside paradise serves cold drinks and all-day eats and features an outdoor terrace overlooking the Pacific, marina, and infinity pool edge.


Days 6-8 — Kauai, Hawaii

With a love for camping, we’re thrilled to be renting the only lifted 4WD Lexus GX 470 on the island! This vehicle has a Roof Nest tent on top — allowing us to spend full days adventuring, watch the stars as we fall asleep, and wake up on the beach or in the mountains.


Days 8-11 — Maui, Hawaii

We’ll be staying at Haleakala Cottage, situated at the beginning of the Road to Hana on an organic homestead. This property in Haiku is a tranquil escape surrounded by lush greenery. We look forward to walking to the nearby cliff to watch the sunrise, cooling off in the swimming pool and stargazing in the private hot tub.

*While the recent Maui wildfires have devastated Lahaina and a few other places on the island, Haiku has remained unharmed. Our Airbnb hosts have implored us to keep our reservation and assured us that Maui is in desperate need of tourism dollars, as their economy relies heavily on it. We hope to respectfully visit and admire its beauty, while supporting small businesses and adventuring the unharmed part of the island — allowing Lahaina residents their privacy to grieve and rebuild.*
