Hello friends and family! We want to thank you for sharing our special day with us and for wanting to make our honeymoon possible and memorable! As we have each been on our own for many years now, we tended to already have much of the necessary things to make a home, so we decided that a honeymoon registry is the perfect alternative to allow guests to share a memory with us instead. We are so appreciative of the friends and family who are contributing to our memories both at the wedding and for our honeymoon. We love you all and cannot wait for the big day...and honeymoon!!!!

We're going to Belize / Ambergris Caye!

Because of our mutual love for adventure and the outdoors (but also modest luxury!), and because we did not want to spend 10+ hours traveling on a plane to get other destination options, we decided on Belize as our honeymoon destination!

Belize is home to the Great Barrier Reef, the largest in the Western hemisphere and only second in the world to Australia's, so we plan to do quite a bit of snorkeling and possibly diving, in addition to exploring the town of San Pedro, kayaking, and relaxing on the beach during our stay on the island of Ambergis Caye. Belize also is known for its jungle activities, so we plan to do some cave tubing, zip lining, and hiking in the jungle.

The main language spoken in Belize is English, so Levi shouldn't have a tough time getting around, but hopefully Morgan will be able to brush up on her Spanish while there as well!

Golf Cart Rental - we've heard that the golf cart is the main mode of transportation on the island, so if we want to explore the town of San Pedro, we'll have to roll like the locals do!

Victoria House: We will be staying at this beautiful resort for 7 nights in one of the Master Villas that overlooks the infinity pool and beach, is complete with private outdoor showers, and boasts breathtaking views of the sunsets and sunrises.

Dining In/Out - We decided against the resort's meal plan, mainly because we want the freedom to check out the local cuisine, but rest assured we will be dining in the resort's restaurants ocassionally as the reviews online are awesome!

Tour of Regional Ruins and Historical Sites - With Cerros, Caracol, Altun Ha and Lamanai among the options, the cultural attractions in Belize are one-of-a-kind and cannot be missed. Hopefully we'll have time to cross into Guatemala and see Tikal!

Manatee Watching - this day trip will take us to St. Georges Caye to watch the manatees, then to a deserted tiny island right by the Barrier Reef where we will do some snorkeling and have lunch on the beach.

Cave Tubing/Zip Line - This full day package will expose us to the jungle on the mainland and starts with a boat ride on a jungle river, hiking, ziplining from as high as 85 feet, and then floating on a lazy river through some amazing Belizean caves!

Snorkel Cruise - Being so near the second largest barrier reef in the world, we have to do some snorkeling! The package we hope for provides a Catamaran sailing trip to two stops, the last being Shark Alley where we will swim with stingrays and sharks!
