Hi everyone!

First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The amount of love we have felt surrounding our engagement and our upcoming wedding has been overwhelming and has meant the world to us. We are so excited to be able to share this day with all of the people who are so important in our lives.

We are fortunate enough to have a lot of the "essential" home items an engaged couple needs. We have a traditional registry as well, but we figured this would be nice for guests who would prefer to gift experiences rather than items.

While we have already taken many exciting trips together, we can't wait for our first adventure as husband and wife (to Vietnam!!). It is because of the lifetime of memories we will gain from this trip that we finally settled on a honeymoon registry.

We're going to Vietnam!!

We'll be heading to Vietnam for a tour of the country! We will be starting in Hanoi then traveling to Ha Long Bay, Hue, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh CIty and finally Phu Quoc Island. We are HUGE history nerds, so we could hardly be content staying on a resort the whole time.

Imperial Citadel Tour- This walled palace was once the imperial capital of Vietnam. It was built in 1362 and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

While in the city of Hue, we would love to try their specialties: banh khoai (Hue savoury pancakes) and banh bot loc boc tom thit (thin rice paper filled with meat and shrimp) and their famous Hue beer.

Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels- The tunnels of Củ Chi are an immense network of connecting underground tunnels used by Viet Cong soldiers as hiding spots during the Vietnam War.

War Remnants Museum- Ho Chi Minh City This is #1 one Joe's list (and pretty high on Steph's as well). The War Remnants Museum has exhibits of the various wars fought in Vietnam, especially the Vietnam War.

Eat, drink... ok just drink- Vietnam is famously the home to the world's cheapest beer, and we intend to find out how good it is. This could have us set for our entire trip.
