Hello everyone!

Mike LaMattina here =). Jackie and I are both so excited you came to visit our registry site! We heard of this site through some newlywed friends who recently used this site to fund their Honeymoon to Italy. Now, we are not going on a honeymoon per se, but as many of you know we will be moving to Krakow, Poland together shortly after our wedding.

Jackie and I have thought long and hard about our future plans and we have spent many a long night staying up discussing our ideas, dreams and hopes. Within the first week that we met each other, we were both sharing a mutual love of travel and discussing traveling to Greece together! Throughout both of our lives we have often felt the urge to hit the road... travel to unfamiliar places and experience new cultures and meet new people. We knew in our hearts that we were meant to grab a passport, strap a bag on our back and set off.

We have been so incredibly blessed by God to have found each other. We have been blessed to be able to find that perfect soul mate who shares our deepest desires, prayers and dreams. In each other we have found our partner in crime.

We knew that we could not stay here where we were raised after we became married. To us, starting a new life in marriage meant the possibility of starting a new adventure together in a new place. Since Jackie has Polish citizenship through her parents, she has applied to graduate school in Krakow. Come September 15th we will be departing for Krakow, Poland. We will be living there for at least 3 years while Jackie finishes her degree.

In light of this move, we are not registering through typical stores or websites. We will not have a home to furnish with items nor do we have the capacity to bring more stuff with us on our move. So here's how this site works: we post specific needs we may have that we need to finance. For example, we have a listing that we need luggage. If you would like to make a donation, you have the option of choosing a specific item from our listing that interests you. You can make donations for one item or as many as you want! Any credit cards are welcome on the site and I believe you also have the option of using your Paypal account.

Again, we are so pleased to have you all share in this special day for us (our wedding) and also that you are able and hopefully willing to help us depart on this new leg of our journey together.
