Hi and welcome to all our wedding guests!

Tara and I decided to "register" for our honeymoon trip because we love to travel together. Spending quality time together experiencing all the sites and sounds of new places is one of the joys of our life together. For us, the trip starts well before we ever get on the plane. First we have a lovely trip to the bookstore (one of our favorite places on the planet) to buy the Frommers book for the locationwe are thinking of traveling to so we can start to read up on all the tips and tricks to plan a memorable experience. Then Tara gets online (does she ever really get offline?) and does even more research! Finally, we start to decide on places we'll stay, sites we'll visit and things we would love to do once we get there.

Sometimes we prefer a city vacation, sometimes it's the beach or nature that beckons. This time it is France - somewhere we've wanted to go for a long time. Both Tara and I took French for six (MF) or seven (Tara) years in high school and though we know we have lost most of our language skills, we are optomistic that we'll be able to read the menu's and road signs! Whether we can read French at all or get totally lost, we know it will be an awesome trip, not only because it is our honeymoon but because we'll have each of you to thank for it! We will hold all of our treasured friends and family in our hearts as we take off for our French adventure!
