Our honeymoon will be in beautiful Cancun. It is located located on the north-east coast of the Yucatán Peninsula in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. The coast is covered in soft white sand, perfect for relaxing after all of our wedding planning.

There are tons of fun places to visit in Cancun, and we will try to see them all. The area surrounding Cancun is filled with Mayan ruins and pyramids such as Chichen Itza, Cobá and Tulum, which we plan to go explore. They also have many Cenotes, which are essentially openings in the ground that expose underground rivers, many of which are available for swimming and tubing in. There are also caves to explore, and island day trips.

We will be staying at the <a href="http://www.excellence-resorts.com/caribbean-and-mexico-destinations/excellence-riviera-cancun">The Excellence Playa Mujeres Resort</a>. It is an all inclusive beach side resort. It looks so relaxing, that it'll be hard to leave the hotel to go have fun! The resort has nine gourmet restaurants, eleven bars, a spa, seven swimming pools and swim up rooms. We will also get to use the hotel's Hobies Cats, windsurf boards, sea kayaks, and snorkel gear. Best of all, it sits right on the beach!
