To our favorite people -

Thank you for stopping by our registry - your generosity means more than you know. Please know that your presence at our wedding party is the greatest present we could ask for, and we are beyond excited to celebrate with you all in April.

You might be wondering "why a honeymoon registry"? As we explored more traditional wedding registry items, we realized how lucky we are to already have so many of the essential household items a new married couple needs (due in large part to Liz's minor obsession with all things kitchen). So, we opted for something a bit unconventional, which would allow us to nurture one of our other loves: travel.

As you've probably seen in our wedding website, Instagram pages, or heard us ramble on about: we love to travel together. And while we've taken multiple amazing trips together, we are very much looking forward to our first real adventure as husband and wife. For those wishing to gift here or in-person at our wedding, we are so grateful to you for helping us build a trip we'll remember for the rest of our lives.

Thank you, thank you. We can't wait to see you in April!

Lots of love,
Nestor & Elizabeth

We're going to Madagascar & Kenya!

We are absolutely thrilled to be heading to Madagascar and Kenya for our honeymoon (and with Liz's birthday on 4/30 and Nestor's on 5/13, we'll be squeezing in some birthday festivities as well). Here's a quick overview of what we'll be up to over our 3-week honeymoon:

We'll start in Antananarivo, Madagascar's capital before venturing to Morondava and Bekopaka to see the famous baobab trees, explore Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park, canoe to the Tombs of the Vazimba Tribe, and try our hand at spotting the elusive fossa at the Kirindy Reserve.

From there, we'll head Nosy Be for a 4-day stay at the Constance Tsarabanjina Resort on Tsarabanjina Island for snorkeling, massages, stargazing, and boat excursions.

Finally, we'll round out our trip with a few days in Nairobi and Masai Mara for game drives, safari, bush breakfasts, and a hot air balloon ride high above the wildlife below.
