First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our engagement party is the best gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this happy occasion with you.
We have been fortunate to have a lot of the "essential" home items a newly engaged couple needs. We hope you find this registry as a way to help us make our perfect honeymoon come true! It is because of the lifetime of memories we will gain from this trip that we finally settled on a honeymoon registry. We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember these gifts for years to come.

We're going to Germany and Switzerland!
Sara and I have been talking about going to Germany and Switzerland for a long time now. It really is our dream destination. One of the big inspirations we had for this trip was a previous trip we had to Brussels a few years ago in December. While we were there we got to visit a couple amazing Christmas markets. We went to a few last year in Chicago and Naperville, but it just wasn't the same. And we know that the markets in Germany and Switzerland are supposed to be amazing! Which is why we're planning the trip for December of this year.
For those that know Sara, will know that she loves chocolate. While we are in Switzerland we will tour a real Swiss chocolate factory! Another one of Sara's passions is baking bread. We will also get the opportunity to mill our own flour at a historic mill from the 16th century. Sara and I also share a passion for art, especially modern art. We will take this opportunity to visit some of the finest art museums in Europe.
