While we both currently have passports, the only place I have used mine is crossing the border to Tijuana, Mexico to shop during our first solo trip together to San Diego as a couple. I am excited that our first major trip together as a married couple will be even more memorable.

Mark and I have decided that the time is now to head "across the pond" to celebrate our marriage. Our intent is to take our trip a couple of months after the wedding. This will hopefully provide us the best weather.

Our intent is to visit Spain (Barcelona), France (Paris) along with at least one other yet to determine location. Being that Mark is allergic to garlic, we might avoid Italy, but we will see as we start planning the trip.

Most of you know that Mark and I both enjoy a great meal. For me that often includes small bites at a variety of different place while at some point Mark also requires a larger meal. We hope to be able to accomplish a little of both in the many cities, along with some site seeing, shopping and whatever else comes our way. Surely a good pair of shoes will be necessary as I fully intend to try to walk off the calories that we will consume along our way.
