Dear Family and Friends,
We are so excited to see many of you all in October! We have looked forward to having our most beloved people around us for our wedding for a long time. Picking a date and a time was a challenge for us, but the planning has really been more exciting than we'd envisioned! Picturing college friends next to high school friends and Katherine's cousins talking to Micah's cousins has been a lot of fun for us.
We've been together for a while now, and those years have enabled us to acquire a lot of the house 'stuff' that we need. In fact, many of you have helped us make our condo in D.C. and now our house in Denver functional, comfortable, and homey!
After going through this home-buying phase in our lives, we realize that we've neglected the 'traveling phase.' We love our house, and don't regret the investment, but we do feel the traveling itch more than ever these days. The only thing we may regret is buying a hundred-year-old house-- the work never seems done!
We won't be able to go on a honeymoon until Katherine's Christmas Break, but this will be the first time that we've flown anywhere together other than to visit family! We could not be more excited to take a trip to Puerto Rico! Everything we've heard indicates that it's the perfect place to combine adventure with pure relaxation, and we look forward to more advice from any of y'all who have been.
We're going to Puerto Rico!
We'll be flying to San Juan, Puerto Rico, and spending time in Old San Juan, in the El Yunque rainforest, and on the island of Vieques.
