The first half of our trip will be a 7 day cruise with Royal Caribbean, with ports of call at Philipsburg, St. Maarten; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Labadee, Haiti. At each stop, we plan on doing a 2-dive excursion in the morning, followed by an afternoon of shopping (for Jude) and relaxing on the beach. While we're cruising to each destination on the trip, we plan on basking in the sun in the pools of the Liberty of the Seas, eating to our hearts content, and maybe even risking our luck at the ship's casino (for Mundo).

The second half of our trip will be an 8 day trip to Italy, with visits to Rome, Florence, and Venice. One of our favorite cuisines is Italian, so we plan on taking in as much of the fodd and wine culture, as well as visiting all of the historic and romantic sites Italy has to offer. In Rome, our must-sees are Day 1: the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain; Day 2: St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel; Day 3: Baths of Caracalla. From there, we will train it to Florence. We are planning to visit Michelangelo's David, Botticelli's Birth of Venus, and Raphael's Madonnas. We want to enjoy the city for its simple pleasures, so we're planning to make the two days at Florence a chance to wander the medieval streets in Dante's old neighborhood, sip a cappuccino on Piazza della Signoria and people-watch, and check out the greenery of the Boboli Gardens. Finally, we're going to end our honeymoon in Venice with a visit to St. Mark's Basilica ... and of course, we're going to take gondola ride around this beautiful city to top off a great 2 weeks!
