We are going to an island of the coast of French Polynesia Tahiti, Bora Bora. The island is surrounded by a lagoon and a barrier reef. In the center of the island are the remnants of an extinct volcano rising to two peaks, Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu. We will be overlooking this mountain from our lagoon.

Bora Bora is slightly less touristy and more private than the main island Tahiti. We are staying in a beautiful overwater bungalow in a lagoon and will get to explore the island. We are wanting to spend our time scuba-diving, hiking, relaxing, and exploring.

It is a long way over to this part of the world, but it is well worth the trip. It takes an entire day to get there! But we know this is the only place in the world that could rival our last trip together to Italy!
