Hi everyone!

First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding celebration is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this happy occasion with you.

As it happens, we already have a lot of the "essential" home items a newly married couple needs. We hope you find this registry a way to help us make our perfect honeymoon come true! While we've taken many exciting trips together, we're very much looking forward to our first real international adventure (Canada doesn't really count, right?). It is because of the lifetime of memories we will gain from this trip that we finally settled on a honeymoon registry. We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember these gifts for years to come.

We'll do our best to document our Costa Rica experience with photos and share them with you when we get back.

We're going to Costa Rica!

We've been talking about going to Costa Rica almost since we met. Between Joe's love of rainforests and Lizzie's minor in Spanish, it's the perfect place for our honeymoon. The highlight will probably be touring the sloth sanctuary and getting to hold baby sloths. We're also excited to zipline in the rainforest, snorkel off the coast, enjoy the warm weather, and get to know another country.

We're not sure yet when we'll go, but between Joe's school schedule and Lizzie's vacation-day hoarding, it probably won't be until winter 2013. More time to plan and dream until then!
