John and I wanted a very small wedding, a backyard wedding, but not in our own backyard. :) As much as we love living in the moment, the idea of a huge wedding and the shenanigans that goes along with it seemed a bit much.

Last February, we went to New Orleans, where we truly solidified our love and commitment. My favorite memory of that trip was when John and I were walking down the busy, zydeco streets and he said to me, "I've never seen you smile so much before! You are truly happy!" I responded with, "Wait until you see my face in San Francisco!" (It wasn't just the city of NOLA, it was that I was there with John.)

Traveling is all about who you travel WITH. We had been friends for over a decade, traveled together to Seattle & Los Angeles with such ease. Being together is so easy and fun, that we want nothing more but to experience the world through each other's eyes. John has never been to San Francisco and there is no other place I would want to start our marriage than SF & the wine country of Napa!! This will be my sixth trip there, so I have a good grasp on all the city's gems.

We want to expand our beautiful family pretty soon and who knows when we will get another chance to have this experience! Thank You again for making our Honeymoon amazing!
