Ben & Jessica

June 1, 2013

First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate in our hearts, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this happy occasion with you.

This wonderful ride that Ben and I are on happened 5 years ago, when Ben asked me to move down to Florida at airport security.Since then we have lived in Daytona Beach, FL; Ft. Lauderdale,FL; Holyoke, MA; Owls Head, ME and now our newest move to Delaware happening this May!! We have both lived in our own places and now for the past 3 years have been living together in everything from a 2 bedroom townhouse all they way down to a single bedroom in a crew house. In that time we have been blessed with many of the essential things a newlywed couple would need. We hope that instead you will find this registry as a way for us to have the honeymoon of our dreams. After all, the memories from this honeymoon will last a lot longer than a new set of wine glasses (especially at Jessica's breakage rate!).

Thanks again and we can't wait to see you at the wedding (or earlier!).

Lots of Love,

Ben and Jessica

We're going to 7 Day Cruise to Bermuda!

We will be taking a 7 day Bermuda Cruise from New York to this lovely island, which sits just 600 nautical miles off the eastern seaboard. We’ll dock at King’s Wharf for three days, giving us the freedom to explore the beaches, restaurants, shops and historic monuments.

Here's a little tid bits about Bermuda...

--- Bermuda is a group of low-lying islands located in the Atlantic Ocean, near the western edge of the Sargasso Sea, roughly 580 nautical miles (1070 km, 670 mi) east-southeast of Cape Hatteras on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and roughly 590 nautical miles (1100 km, 690 mi) southeast of Martha's Vineyard. The island lies due east of Fripp Island, South Carolina. It has 103 km (64 mi) of coastline. There are two incorporated municipalities in Bermuda: the City of Hamilton and the Town of St George. Bermuda is divided into nine "parishes," in which there are some localities called "villages," such as Flatts Village and Somerset Village. It is antipodal to Rottnest Island in Western Australia.

--- The only source of fresh water in Bermuda is rainfall, which is collected on roofs and catchments (or drawn from underground lenses) and stored in tanks. Each dwelling usually has at least one of these tanks forming part of its foundation. Residents typically add bleach to make the water safe to drink.

---Bermuda has a humid subtropical climate[9][10] on the border of tropical climate. It is warmed by the nearby Gulf Stream, due to the westerlies, which carry warm, humid air eastwards over Bermuda, helping to keep winter temperatures above freezing. The climate is humid and, as a result, the summertime heat index can be high, even though mid-August temperatures rarely exceed 30 °C (86 °F).

We can't tell you how excited we are about this honeymoon. We have never left the country together and this will be a trip that we will talk about to our kids and their kids.

We've included some of the activities and experiences we'll be enjoying just below. Thank you so much for your gift and making our honeymoon memorable.
