Hi everyone!

So we know this is not the most traditional registry but please let us explain!

Upon Jake's graduation, his extended family gave him a TON of kitchen-related things in order to help him upgrade from the paper plates and plastic cups. ;) Therefore we are well set-up in the traditional area of kitchen appliances, etc. and felt registering for these sorts of items would not help us out very much.

However, in spite of having a lot of kitchen items, Jake and I are already in a hefty amount of debt from school and we anticipate this is only going to grow in the upcoming years as Jake starts medical school and I make my way back to school to get my MBA. In addition, things are going to be very busy for us shortly with our big move this summer, Jake starting school, and myself working an average of 60 hrs/wk in the world of retail (Target).

Having said all this, we will definitely not have the resources (or likely the time!) in the next five years to travel much. Therefore, we are really hoping to kick off our married life together in a fun and memorable way before things get really crazy...hence, traveler's joy!

Regarding our honeymoon destination, we are hoping to spend a week in the lovely ORLANDO, FL where dreams really do come true!

Jake and I are hoping to have a "mini road-trip" to Miami for a day. Two reasons: 1. I watch way too much of CSI: Miami and I need to see if this city is as cool as this show makes it out to be. Jake can testify to this. 2. Lebron lives there.
