Hi, ya'll!

First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate in our hearts, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate with all of you!

Having joined two households, we pretty much have all of the "things" that we need to get going. Plus, we're both more about experiences than possessions anyway. We hope you find this registry as a way to help us establish the memories of our first real adventure as husband and wife. After all, the memories from this honeymoon will last a lot longer than a new set of wine glasses (especially at Jaclyn's breakage rate!).

Thanks again and we can't wait to see you at the wedding!

Jaclyn & Joe

We're going to Texas!

For our honeymoon we're planning a road trip across Texas - no interstates, no hotel reservations, no stress. We'll be hitting up can't miss restaurants, amazing views, small towns off the beaten path, strange roadside attractions, secret beaches (even though it will be November...), etc. We just want to see the state from all corners and start to truly appreciate it for more than just this jewel we call Austin. Please feel free to explore our itinerary and join in with any experiences you may have had. We can't wait to take a bunch of pictures and show you what an amazing experience you helped provide.

We will be touring the USS Lexington off the coast of Corpus Christi. USS Lexington, nicknamed "The Blue Ghost", is an aircraft carrier built during World War II for the United States Navy. Lexington was decommissioned in 1991.

Joe has never gotten along with horses, but we'll try one more time for a chance at experiencing a Sunset Horseback Ride on the beach at South Padre Island. Pictures will inevitably look like the cover of romance novels...

We'll be testing our nonexistent camping skills during a night under the starts in Big Bend National Park. We'll also take advantage of the amazing scenery through river trips and horse back riding.

Marfa is famous for lots of things - art, film, and of course the Marfa lights. But it also provides for great soaring conditions that make Glider Tours a big attraction. We'd hop in with a certified pilot & glide with the eagles!

We'll slow down and take in some history at the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. Stephanie tells us "It's the craziest place/feeling/experience. Highly recommended".

While passing through Ft. Worth, we plan on getting a steak at the Stockyards. Stephanie recommends we try Tim Love's cowboy cuisine at the Lonesome Dove, where the garlic-stuffed tenderloin is supposed to change your life!

I'm sorry - what'd you say? Hotel AND brewery? Sold. Some people say it's haunted, but I'm thinking that's just a result of one too many Pale Ale's. Thanks for the recommendation Brian!
