Thank you for visiting our honeymoon registry page! We are looking forward to seeing you at the wedding in July! Of course, the biggest gift you could give would be your presence on our special day- but we know for many of you this isn’t possible to make the journey all the way to France.

We struggled for a long time on what to register for, and realized that after combining our homes and lives, there isn’t much that we need to start our life as a married couple. We decided to use this registry for the gift of travel- which for G and me is extremely important, and also the reason we are together!

Both of us have always had a longing to explore and see different parts of the world. My junior year of college, I took a semester abroad to Spain- which changed the path of my life in every way. I became appreciative and curious about European culture, and fell in love with the lifestyle and people. G spent his post doctoral studies in America, and in very much the same way- grew to respect and admire the US culture, diversity and opportunities that it represented. Without our desire and curiosity to learn about new cultures- we certainly would not be celebrating a wedding today!

We spend every possible moment we have exploring the corners of the world- diving into rich cultures and experiencing new and exciting adventures. For us, an amazing bottle of wine, a regional gastronomic meal and the breathtaking scenery is worth far more to us than any material object. These are truly treasures that we will hold dear for the rest of our lives- and to know that our friends and family made that possible, is the best wedding present we could ask for.
