"... And They Lived Happily Ever After..."

After our engagement in May, we realized that between the two of us we have two toaster ovens, three sets of silverware, two microwaves and many more typical household items that we cannot find the room to store :) We contemplated long and hard where to have our registry and knowing how much we have enjoyed our prior travel adventures together, we decided to use Traveler's Joy, and that our first stop in our "happily ever after" would be the Turks & Caicos islands!!! After all, the memories from this honeymoon will last a lot longer than a new set of wine glasses!

The Turks and Caicos Islands consist of 40 islands and cays, eight of which are inhabited. The islands are located 550 miles southeast of Miami, Florida, just below the Bahamas chain and just to the east of Cuba and the island of Hispaniola (Dominican Republic and Haiti.) Technically, the Turks and Caicos are located in the Atlantic Ocean, not the Caribbean Sea. These amazing secluded islands are known for some of the worlds most beautiful turquoise water beaches, the largest pristine coral reefs in the Caribbean, diving, fishing, conch farms, and premiere luxury vacationing.

Since both of us have family all over the Caribbean, it was difficult to find an island that neither one of had been to before! However, choosing this gorgeous location to start our lives together as husband and wife proved to be an easy choice! We are SO excited to experience this new paradise that await us, and are so thankful that we have the most awesome friends and family to help us make this dream a reality!!! We love you all and thank you all for being a part of our honeymoon...you are what will make our "honey"moon soooo much more SWEET! :)
