Hi everyone!
Thanks for visiting our honeymoon registry. We are looking forward to seeing everybody in California April 2007 for the wedding. It will be wonderful to have all of our friends and family there to share this special day with us. We especially appreciate all of our friends and family that live outside of California who are planning to attend. We hope you'll enjoy the scenery and activities Los Angeles has to offer as much as we do.
After we were engaged last winter in Austin, we realized that between us we had four sets of silverware, two toaster ovens, and a life-time supply of cutlery! An agreement was made when we began contemplating where to register - minimize the stuff factor. Instead, let's celebrate our love with a honeymoon that will create memories for a lifetime. When we are an old married couple it is the memories and experiences we will cherish from our younger days, not the fancy tea set. We hope that family and friends will celebrate us on our wedding day by helping us realize a dream honeymoon that we will reminisce about for the rest of our lives together.

We're going to Japan!
Japan, here we come!
Our honeymoon will begin in Toko, Japan after a flight from Los Angeles California. Once there, we will take plenty of time to relax and take in the sights and sounds after a busy year preparing for the wedding.
We'll explore the island by using Japan's amazing public transportation system with our two week rail pass. This will give us the ability to get around for various day trips with ease.
In Tokyo we hope to catch the early morning market, explore the imperial grounds, watch some sumo wrestling and make a day trip out to hike Mt. Fuji.
After our stay in Tokyo, it's on to Kyoto, which is known for it's beauty, history and tradition. There we hope to see the many temples, watch some Kabuki at one of the oldest theater houses, stay in traditional Japanese housing (Ryokan) and make a day trip out to one of the many hot spring spas.
Our last place will be Hiroshima, which is the place of the memorial peace park, Hiroshima castle, and of course we hope for an overnight stay on Miyajima, the scenic island in the Seto Sea. After our whirl wind tour, it's then back to Tokyo and on to LA to begin our wonderful life as husband and wife!
