Our Story
Josh and Heidi first met in their eighth grade art class. While Heidi took the class very seriously, Josh preferred to entertain his fellow classmates with his humor and pranks. Their paths crossed again later in the year during their wood shop class. This time, Heidi was busy trying not to kill her classmates when the blade from her bandsaw flew across the room while Josh excelled at making the perfect corner shelf. Soon it was the end of the school year and Josh and Heidi spent the summer with their friends.
The following September was the start of their freshman year of high school. They would pass each other in the halls and sat within a few feet of each other in the lunch room, but still they did not talk. Then, one day (October 20, 2000 to be exact), fate stepped in. Heidi's friends began telling her that a boy named Josh Mack was going to the football game that night and that he was hoping to see Heidi there. Heidi was curious about the boy she had only seen in passing and decided to go to the game that night. Sure enough, Josh was at the game and asked Heidi if he could sit next to her. She said yes and a young romance began to form.
Over the next few years, Josh and Heidi spent more and more time together, even working at a local summer carnival to maximize their time together. They also enjoyed taking weekly trips to Dorney Park with their friends, going out to eat, and working on class projects together. Before they knew it, high school was over. Josh found a job with a local excavating company and Heidi was headed for college. Not wanting to leave Josh's side, she decided to attend Moravian College in Bethlehem.
Right after Heidi began her third year of college, Josh surprised her on their sixth year anniversary (October 20, 2006) by asking her to marry him. They had just finished a romantic dinner at The Apollo Grille, where they go every year for their celebratory dinner. Josh took Heidi's hand as they strolled down the sidewalk lit with old-fashioned street lights. He began to tell her how he had a gift for her but that he had forgotten it at his mother's house. Not appreciating his supposed lack of planning, Heidi became slightly annoyed. Josh stopped walking and it took Heidi a minute to realize that he was no longer walking beside her. Then she heard him say, "Well, I did bring this one thing with me, but it's sort of small." When she turned around, Josh was holding a small black box. The next thing either of them remembers is that there was a lot of tears, hugs, and kisses while they admired the beautiful ring on Heidi's left hand.
Now, almost four years later, Josh and Heidi have spent nearly a decade together. Since that first football game, they have graduated high school together, Josh has advanced and become a well respected member in his company, Heidi received her bachelor's degree from Moravian College, they spent over three years building their first home together, and Heidi will be finishing her master's degree in marriage and family counseling this December.
On October 23, 2010, Josh and Heidi will finally become husband and wife! They look forward to having all of their family and friends join them on their long-awaited, special day. There will be an abundance of food, the drinks will be flowing, the music playing, and love everywhere you look. Josh and Heidi's hope is that all of their guests have the time of their life as they help the newly weds celebrate the start of a new chapter in lives together as Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Mack.

Honeymoon Plans
Josh and Heidi will be postponing their honeymoon so that Heidi can complete her master's degree. However, in mid January, 2011, Josh and Heidi will be headed to the warm Jamaican air for a seven night stay at Sandals Montego Bay Resort.
We're going to Sandals Montego Bay!
The resort offers beautiful white beaches with crystal clear water, private honeymoon suites, a variety of on-site restaurants, tons of recreation options, and of course the perfect setting for a romantic honeymoon! While we are there we plan to lay on the beach, try our hand at snorkeling, go on excursion tours, take advantage of the Red Lane Spa, maybe reserve a romantic dinner for two by the ocean, and of course enjoy each other's company while we relax in paradise.
With so many options... we may never want to leave!
A Note from the Couple
Thanks for visiting our wedding page! We are looking forward to seeing everybody this October for our wedding. It's going to be wonderful to have all of our friends and family there to share this special day with us!
Because we have been engaged for almost four years and have been living in our new house since April 2009, we realized that we already acquired most of the things we need for our home. So, we decided to celebrate our love with a great honeymoon that will create memories for a lifetime. When we're an old married couple these will be the memories and experiences we will cherish from our younger days. If you choose to give us a gift to jump start our marriage, this is the perfect option!
We look forward to seeing all of you soon!!!
Love Always,
Heidi and Josh
