Thank you for visiting our honeymoon registry! We are so excited about our seeing everyone in Napa. It promises to be an amazing weekend with wonderful people. We are thrilled to share this special day with you!

WARNING: THIS WHOLE HONEYMOON IS A SURPRISE FOR ALEX. And I'd like to keep it that way. SO PLEASE DON'T TELL HIM! As we are both in school, we planned on having a simple honeymoon in Napa and eventually (when we have jobs, not loans) we would take a vacation to Australia or New Zealand or someplace we had not yet traveled (with Morgan that's a challenge).

ALEX BELIEVES WE ARE STAYING IN NAPA FOR OUR HONEYMOON. The plan was to switch hotels after the wedding and spend 5 days or so in Napa. We talked about wanting to go beachside, but both agreed we should try to wait. Well, after a few weeks of deliberating, I decided we couldn't wait! It's our HONEYMOON!!! We should celebrate! Celebrate being married, celebrate a year of school done, celebrate life! We should enjoy ourselves and not put off a well earned vacation for the next 2 years while we earn our degrees. I hope you understand, because I need your help!

I hope that family and friends will celebrate us on our wedding day by helping us get some time to relax! I realize this is a bit unorthodox, but that's what's fun about it! Besides, when we moved in together a few years ago, we were lucky enough to spend some time revamping our home to make it truly our own. New dishes, knives, linens and a lovely dog too! Unfortunately for the gift registry world, we already own most of what we need. So, the idea behind this registry is simple: less stuff, more memories, more fun and more time together!

Any gift you give us, he will receive; he'll just think it's happening in Napa. So, if you give us the gift of golf, he'll simply believe he is playing golf in Napa. If you give us the gift of massages, he'll believe that's occurring in Napa as well. Trust me, he doesn't read into things or research this stuff on his own. According to him, I've handled all this stuff, and he's happy to keep it that way!

ALEX WILL BE TOLD ABOUT THIS RETREAT ON SUNDAY, JUNE 8th, (after the wedding) at the "Pastries and Coffee" event. He'll be opening a gift from me that includes the tickets to Hawaii! PLEASE DON'T TELL HIM BEFORE THAT!
