Hello All!
We are counting the days until the wedding when we can celebrate with our friends and family. The last few years have been a whirlwind and the next few months promise the same. Travel has been instrumental in forming our relationship and we certainly want to continue that trend. An early trip to Ontario for a Stroud family wedding closely followed by a week in Spain cemented our love for each other and really helped us draw closer. When our schedules allow it, we are hoping to spend some time in Europe (Croatia +/- Italy!?) sometime between when Karen finishes medical school and starts residency. We are hoping to have some fun traveling, learning, and exploring before we hunker down for a couple years to focus on professional commitments. We will update the site as our dreams evolve. Love to you all.

We are hoping to get a VRBO somewhere on the Adriatic Sea... most likely in the spring of 2013. We would also like to explore Northern Italy if time allows!?

Plitvice Lakes National Park -- check out these waterfalls and lakes! Gorgeous! There are hiking trails between, underneath, and around the falls! We would love to stay at a nearby B&B and check the falls out one of the weekends we are there!

Did you know, Marco Polo had a house in Croatia? We'd love to spend a couple of days poking around Polos house and other historical sites in the region! P.S. That picture is Polos' house....views from the house out to the water look FANTASTIC!

There are SO MANY amazing waterfront cottages to rent on the mainland or islands of Croatia. Our plan is to rent one as our home base to explore the region! The image belongs to a VRBO Apartment on the Island of Hvar! It looks AWESOME!

Reviews from many of the restaurants sound amazing....words such as "gastronomic experience" are used! How could we go wrong?!?! Every restaurant writes about fresh lobsters and grilled fish from the Adriatic as if that is no big deal...!
