Where to register for the wedding? That was a big question. Both of us really wanted to find something that was uniquely us. Something that reflects who we are and what we love to do. Something that would create lasting memories not only for us, but also provide memories to pass down to our future generations. While researching options, we were very excited to learn that we could actually register for our honeymoon. How cool is that? Your gift will really be the gift of a lifetime! We're going to Los Cabos!
** UPDATE ** For those of you who have visited our page previously you will notice that our destination has changed. Due to a recent travel advisory issued for Germany we have decided to spend our honeymoon in Los Cabos. The Resorts of Los Cabos stretch along the tip of the Baja Peninsula – San Jose del Cabo, the Cabo Corridor, and Cabo San Lucas. Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo enjoy equal access to the great beaches along the corridor between the two towns. San Jose del Cabo is a pleasant city of meandering streets and lush palm groves, with the languid pace of a colonial village. The city sits about a mile back from the sea, and is separated from the beachfront by a series of low hills. A few steps in from the sea is the city's main natural feature, a large freshwater estuary - which gives the city a semi-tropical, almost oasis look. The area was first visited by Cortes himself in 1535 and served as a mission stop for centuries. Today it is a town with a handsome Municipal Palace, charming courtyard restaurants, shops, boutiques, and Colonial-era buildings. All in all, Los Cabos offers something for everyone in a natural wonderland where the desert collides with the confluence of the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez.
