We are looking forward to celebrating the 'first of the rest' with you in Vermont, and then we're off to New Zealand for our honeymoon!

After five years of dating, including three years of living together, we've gathered most of the housewares and cooking gear that one couple living in a small city apartment could need (with a few exceptions, which you'll find on our Williams-Sonoma and Amazon registries!).

On this registry, you have the opportunity to contribute to some of our dream adventures in New Zealand. The memories of this trip will be worth more than you can imagine. We have taken many exciting trips but this will be our first as husband and wife! We will appreciate and fondly remember these gifts for the rest of our lives, so thank you for thinking of us.

We're going to New Zealand!

We'll be making our way to New Zealand via a four-day stopover in Tahiti, complete with an overwater bungalow! Once in Kiwi country, we'll start by exploring the North Island, including a farm stay, black water rafting, and then the city of Wellington, where we're looking forward to sampling the food and wine. From there we'll take the InterIslander ferry across the Cook Straight to the South Island. Our South Island adventures will include riding on two of New Zealand's epic trains, taking a helicopter to the top of Fox Glacier, crusing the scenic coastal highway, exploring Milford Sound from above and below, and luging in Queenstown.

Te Papa Museum - This is an institution proud of all things Kiwi. We'll be exploring everything this national museum has to offer - the Maori culture, art exhibitions, and weta hotels (built for live creepy crawlies).

InterIslander - We will make the crossing from the North Island to the South Island on the InterIslander ferry, but this is not just transportation. Wine Spectator calls it "one of the most beautiful ferry rides in the world."

TranzCoastal train - Matt LOVES trains, so what better way to make the journey from the ferry landing south to Christchurch than by train? The TranzCoastal features an open-air viewing cart, and we're hoping to see seals and dolphins along the way!

Fox Glacier Heli-hike - This trip combines the thrill of a helicopter flight with the excitement of walking on the Fox Glacier. By flying in we'll be able to explore the glacier's spectacular ice caves and arches.

Epic drive - We'll be devoting an entire day to make our way from the Fox Glacier down to Te Anau, the gateway town for Milford Sound. Of course, we'll be stopping to take in sights like Blue Pools and Billy Rock Falls along the way.

Cruise - We will see the highlights of Milford Sound, including Bowen Falls and the awe-inspiring Mitre Peak. We'll also stop off at the Underwater Observatory, where we'll descend below the Sound’s surface to see the underwater life first hand.

Kayaking - We have our eyes on the 'Sterling Sunriser' trip, a highlight of which is paddling as close as you dare beneath the magnificent Sterling Falls.
