Hi Friends and Family!
First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate in our hearts, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this joyful occasion with you. If you can't make it we understand as well but with our Honeymoon Registry everyone can take part to contributing to our fun memories in the sun. We will have lots of pictures and a video of the weddingmoon in case you can't make the trip!
We want to thank you all so much for being a part of the real celebration-- the honeymoon!!!
Both of us are so excited to start our married life together in a lush paradise full of fun-filled activities and blissful relaxation. We are grateful to you all for your support. It has been such a hard, long process we are so excited and ready to celebrate our new life finally together!
Thank you again! We both cannot wait to have fun at the wedding celebration with you all!!!
We have been blessed to have a lot of the "essential" home items a newly engaged couple needs. We hope you find this registry as a way to help us make our perfect honeymoon come true! We also do have a "normal" registry at JCPenny as well if you prefer a more conventional option for a few essential home items we could use in our new life together joined as one. But as everyone knows by now Mark and I are not the conventional couple!
While Mark and I have taken a few trips together in Jamaica of course in order to see each other over this past year and a half, we are very much looking forward to our first real adventure in the US Virgin Islands as husband and wife in Caribbean Paradise. It is because of the lifetime of memories we will gain from this trip that we finally settled on a honeymoon registry. We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember these gifts for years to come. After all, the memories from this honeymoon will last a lot longer than a new crockpot or rice cooker (though Mark does love his rice, but being Jamaican really a rice cooker is not a necessity to make rice!)
We'll do our best to document our experience via photo and include it in your much-deserved "thank you" note.
Thanks again and we can't wait to see you in St. Thomas!
Love,
Erica & Mark
We're going to Emerald Beach Resort & The Sugar Bay Resort!
We have chose St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands to have our West Indian beach dream wedding and honeymoon for a few key reasons.
One - It is in the US (or else we would have chose Mark's home and a fav destination of mine Jamaica)
Two - It is a Caribbean Island and the closest place most comprable to Jamaica.
Tree - It's a beautiful tropical Island in the Caribbean where no passport is required! Nuff said.
Our first part of the wedding will have us staying at the Emerald Beach Resort where the wedding will be held.
Highlights - Where the weddingmoon all begins...
Tucked into sun-splashed Lindbergh Bay on the Island of St. Thomas, the beautifully appointed Best Western Emerald Beach Resort welcomes our guests with the gracious look, style and service of the Virgin Islands' rich heritage. With the bounty of land and sea captured in stunning views, it's the perfect place for a memorable vacation, unforgettable beach wedding, and honeymoon.
A Virgin island oasis beyond compare!
Located directly on the beach at Lindbergh Bay they have crystal clear water and all the water sports toys we could want. We can snorkle, scuba, sail or kayak. We've got it all! Luckily Mark is a lifeguard and expert on the Sea!
Surrounded by landscaped gardens, cascading waterfalls and lush tropical settings, the Emerald Beach Resort offers a central, convenient location close to the airport, shopping, championship golf and all of St. Thomas's great activities and adventures. We will rest, relax, sun, eat and drink as husband and wife at the Emerald Beach Resort until Tuesday.
Then we will be off to the Sugar Bay Resort and Spa - All-Inclusive for the real honeymoon.
Perched high above the glittering Caribbean is our personal paradise.
We will be revitalized. At the Sugar Bay Resort & Spa - All-Inclusive we''ll feel utterly renewed. That's because on St. Thomas in the beautiful US Virgin Islands, R&R stands for Relaxation and Rejuvenation. The Sugar Bay Resort & Spa, now St. Thomas' true All-Inclusive resort, is not one of your typical white box hotels, but a place that's as unique as the island itself. We choose our view, choose our favorite ways to relax, choose where we want to eat, all without ever leaving the lush, 31-acre property. From the moment we start sipping our complimentary welcome drink in the colonial-style lobby, we know we will be well cared for here.
We can snorkel, kayak or sail – and all from our secluded beach.
It's located on St. Thomas so that means they're all about the water. Perhaps best of all, the Sugar Bay is St.Thomas' true all-inclusive resort. As long as we're the motor, our fun is free. Unless we go on one of our Honeymoon Registry Excursions that is! Naturally, also included are our meals and drinks. Our bracelet makes everything as easy as it is fun. We will enjoy three interconnected fresh-water pools or the secluded beach. But don't be fooled, we can also play a game of tennis or basketball, that's all included too. Extras like jet skis, parasailing, and land excursions are an extra charge. When we're ready to truly unwind, we will head to our comfortable hotel guestroom, all of which boast a private terrace. If a Massage or Body Wrap is our idea of utter bliss, we will stop by the Journeys Spa. Various restaurants and bars mean something tasty or cold is never far away. We were looking for an all-inclusive St. Thomas resort. We have found a rare jewel here. Perfect for us to share our honeymoon!
From see – to shining sea.
On this US Virgin Island vacation we will find so many things to do here. Yes, we're on a Caribbean retreat, but we will take some time to venture off the property and enjoy the lovely island. St. Thomas snorkeling and scuba diving are some of the best in world, we won't miss it. Duty-free shopping is great fun as well. With the inter-island ferry found just two miles away in Red Hook, island hopping is a breeze. It's nice to know we're only eight miles from the Cyril E. King Airport. Don't forget – US citizens don't even need a passport to travel to St. Thomas.
