Costa Rica (meaning "rich coast" in Spanish), officially the Republic of Costa Rica, is a country in Central America, bordered by Nicaragua to the north, Panama to the southeast, the Pacific Ocean to the west, and the Caribbean Sea to the east. Costa Rica has a ton to offer geographically from live volcanoes, lush rainforests, and beautiful beaches on both the Pacific and Atlantic coasts.

We couldn't decide between adventure and relaxation, so we chose both! We will be spending the first 3 nights in Costa Rica at San Jose as our home base. We will use our rental car to travel around the the country seeing all it has to offer. The final 6 nights we will spend relaxing in a private villa at the Oxygen Jungle Villas in Southwest Costa Rica. It is situated up in the rain forest overlooking the Pacific. while only a short drive to the beach and downtown area of Uvita. This resort is one of the top couples locations in the entire country and we plan on taking advantage of all the amenities and highly rated restaurant.
