Rowan & Dylan

November 5, 2011

Hey, everyone.
This registry is a little different--Dylan and I have a lot of the daily essentials needed in a home, and while we have other registries for the couple of things we don't have, or upgrades of things we do have, this registry might just yield the best gifts we could receive--wonderful memories of our honeymoon.

News update: we're going to Japan (Tokyo and Kyoto) in March 2012! Dylan will probably test for his black belt in Aikido at a dojo in Tokyo, and we'll extend the "business" trip a few days for a trip to Kyoto. We're very excited, and we'll be slowly adding our personal list of things to do and see to the generic list that is currently up.
Please, check back often, and help us make this trip one to remember forever!

Thank you,
Rowan and Dylan

We're going to Tokyo, Japan!

Here's what we know so far, and we'll update this when we can:
We'll leave Salt Lake City on Friday, March 16, and with a layover in San Fransisco, we'll land in Tokyo on March 17. We'll spend about eight nights in Tokyo, and while Dylan will have morning and evening Aikido classes, we'll have the days and nights to ourselves for sightseeing and ... other honeymoon stuff. Dylan will probably test for his black belt on Saturday the 25th, and then on Sunday, we'll take the bullet train (Shinkansen) to Kyoto, where we'll spend three nights in a lovely region of Japan.
Then we'll come home on Wednesday the 28th (landing about fifteen minutes before we took off, due to the International Date Line), and we'll pass out for at least 24 hours before going back to our normal lives, about 14 days of pictures, sights, food and temples richer.
