Hello everyone! Welcome to our honeymoon registry.

When family and friends began to ask us about our wedding registry, we realized that we have most of the "essential" home items a couple needs. So, we decided to do something different and unique and create a registry where you can help us make our perfect honeymoon dreams come true! We know this isn't your ordinary registry, but we love to travel and thought this was a great way for family and friends to share in our adventure.

Our first trip together as husband and wife will be to Europe! We are flying into Brussels, Belgium(where Denise has ancestors) and spending the day there before taking the train to Bruges. Bruges is sometimes called the "Venice of the North" and is supposedly very romantic; a perfect way to start our honeymoon. After a couple of days in Bruges - eating chocolate! - we are off to Paris, which is only an hour and a half away, by Eurostar (high speed train). Jimmy wants to eat steak and frites every night there! From Paris, we head to London. Denise has been to London before, absolutely loves it, and can't wait to experience it with Jimmy by her side. We depart from London to the Greek Islands of Mykonos and Santorini with a stop in Athens. Even though Jimmy is Greek and has been to Greece many times, he's never been to the islands. He's excited to be in the country of his family and help Denise practice her Greek! We thought that some extended time on the islands would be a nice way to wind down our whirlwind European vacation, relaxing together and enjoying the beauty. On our way home, we will have dinner in Madrid (if you have to have an overnight layover, well, Madrid doesn't seem like a bad place to be!).

In total, we will be gone for about 2 1/2 weeks. We know that this trip will not only celebrate the start of our new life together, but will create life-long memories as well.

We are so grateful that you all can help us create honeymoon memories that will last a lifetime! We have tons of amazing things planned for our trip, as you will see when you check out the details of our honeymoon. We will definitely share lots of pictures with all of you when we get back.

For our 3rd evening in Santorini, we thought we'd check out Ntomatini restaurant for dinner. It's in a town called Perissa. Tripadvisor.com says that their cheese stuffed white eggplant is one of the best eggplant dishes ever!

For our last afternoon in Santorini, we thought we would go exploring and try to find a restaurant off the beaten path, called Roka. It is somewhere in the town of Oia, so we'll have fun finding it!

Santorini is a volcanic island, so what better way to spend our last evening there than dining in Fira! There is a restaurant called Daphne that is supposed to have awesome pastitsio (Greek style lasagna).
