7 days in Denver; Breckenridge; Aspen, Colorado
From sand to snow we love to travel in all the climates. Years ago Dave actually lived in Grand Junction Colorado where he was a ski instructor...who knew one day he would be my ski instructor :) We have talked about going out west to ski and Colorado is a place close to Dave's heart as he spent years visiting with family and even going to school there at one time. This is a place we are excited to travel to together for skiing, great dinners, shopping and sight-seeing. Denver will be our first stop for two days where we plan to check out some small music venues with reputation for big names, try some local restaurants and shop around. Next stop is Breckenridge for three days at a ski in ski out hotel to hit the slopes. This will be Melissa's first time on west coast powder and an incredible experience to compare to Maryland's ski options. We plan to enjoy long days of skiing and warming up to cocktails and wine selections at night. The final stop will be Aspen for two days where we will enjoy both skiing and sight seeing. Maroon Bells, two rose colored peaks in Aspen and red rocks are two natural wonders Dave can't wait to share with Melissa. So much to do and experience together in this gorgeous state. We are so excited to spend time here together!!
