Hello Everyone!

Danny and Barbara met in the living room of the Tron house in the summer of 1978. She was a beautiful brunette bombshell with the cutest lisp you ever heard! She had recently been selected to the Monte Vista High School Varsity Cheer Squad for her junior year. Danny was entering his senior year at Monte Vista and was the Varsity Football Team's starting Quarterback (a Tron family tradition at Monte Vista). Their meeting was inevitable. Little did they know just how inevitable their meeting would be.

Not long into the school year Barbara and Danny were going steady and were inseperable. In fact, Barbara and Danny were living together in the Tron house for much of that first year. Thank you, Mom and Dad, for having open minds and caring hearts! Barbara and Danny's time with each other was characterized by laughter, loving and friendship. They were the epitome of young love with all of it's associated pains and joys. When they were apart they hurt inside until they were back together. When they were together they loved each other with reckless abandon. They always enjoyed each other's company. Being together was their favorite place to be. Bound together they went through those formative years and learned the lessons of that age as one. Barbara and Danny were together until 1982 when life spun them apart as their youth wandered in it's own way. They saw and did so much together. The memories they amassed and lessons they learned make up a full life time.

In June 2006 Danny was in Grapevine, TX visiting Mom and Dad when, for no apparent reason, Mom said, "Have you heard from Barbara?" It had been 22 years since he had seen Barbara and near as many years that they had spoken. Suddenly, flushed with the memories of what they were and how special they had been swept through Danny. He went looking for her and found her. From the very first email and subsequent telephone calls and text messages, they knew they would be together again.

Danny and Barbara decided to meet 3 months later. Talk about nervous! After numerous flights back and forth to Texas and Los Angeles, Barbara and Danny moved in together in April of 2007. Danny proposed to Barbara on Labor Day 2007 on Rob Tron's radio program (live). Fortunately, she said yes! Their love is exuberant and strong just like it was when we they were young, yet, now, it is tempered with the wisdom gleaned from life experiences, many of which they shared together. They are truly blessed and now realize that life is fragile, that love is a gift.

They realize just how much in love and how committed to each other they are and they feel so very fortunate to have this second chance at a life together.

Thank you for taking a moment to visit their Registry Page. Barbara and Danny are very excited about their June 21, 2008 wedding and honeymoon cruise to Mexico. Neither of them have been on a cruise. Both Danny and Barbara have always had a fond and loving spot in their hearts for Mexico as it was one of their most frequently travelled spots during their youth. The stories they can tell......

When asked about gifts for their wedding, they both felt strongly that their new relationship should be defined more by shared experiences than shared possessions. With this in mind, they elected to register for their honeymoon to "The Mexican Riviera."
