Greetings family and friends,

Thank you for arriving at the "pay-to-play" portion of this wedding ceremony. Just kidding. Danielle got mad that I just wrote that. I've been censored. So it begins. We appreciate you coming to our ceremony, regardless of this pre-marital spat.

OK...sorry about that, folks: Thank you for considering a contribution to our travels as your wedding gift to us! We've been blessed to have previously found many of the "essential" home items a newly engaged couple would typically wish for (thank you, Mom, for your countless reorganizations of our family attic as I've accumulated things over the years). Our greatest desire is to kick our marriage off with an unforgettable adventure to a new place - Costa Rica!

Costa Rica is an incredible country full of vibrant culture and ecosystems, with a huge emphasis on sustainability. The trip will give me a chance to improve my Spanish and learn from the amazing nature-forward tourism and introduce Thomas to some incredible surfing.

Most of all, your contribution helps us set the tone for our life together: more focused on memories and less on possessions. Please note there are NO fees if you support our activities via cash or check, but there is a small service fee going the credit card route.

We promise to digitally document our experiences and include it in your much-deserved "thank you" note. We appreciate you so much, and we can't wait to see you at the wedding - or earlier!

We're going to Costa Rica!

COSTA RICA HERE WE COME!!! We are so excited to travel down south for a week of relaxation, indulging in fresh fruit, and getting outdoors. Costa Rica is full of rich biodiversity and is incredibly eco-minded. Did you know that the country produces 99% of its energy from renewable sources, including wind, solar, geothermal, and hydrogen? It also features amazing sightseeing opportunities and sporting adventures.

Our goal is to have a balance of 1) ordering drinks and food poolside while tanning and reading books with 2) traversing jungles, volcanoes, and beaches. We want to be mindful of the local opportunities while also kicking back and soaking in our time off work and new roles as husband and wife. THANK YOU for helping us realize this dream!
