Thank you so much for visiting our Honeymoon Registry. We are so appreciative to all of you who have chosen to help us on our honeymoon adventure to Peru!

We decided to do a honeymoon registry as traveling is a huge thing that Dan and I have in common and would like to continue throughout our marriage. We have been lucky to take trips together to Nepal in 2009 and Panama in 2011. We cannot wait to bring on Peru in 2012!

Please feel free to send along any advice, travel ideas, or Spanish words to prepare us for our trip!

We're going to Peru!

We depart for our honeymoon adventure on August 3rd, 2012 almost one week after our wedding.

We are flying into Lima and are leaving right away to Puno, Peru right by the beautiful Lake Titicaca. We will explore the area for about 4 days including an overnight stay with a host family on Isla Amantani.

From Puno, we will head to Cusco to acclimatize to the high altitude before we embark on a 4 day, 3 night Inca Trail camping and hiking trek to the amazing Machu Picchu. After returning from our trek, we will spend a couple more days in Cusco to eat, relax, and take some day trips to ruins around the city.

For our last night, we will be staying at a nice hotel in the Miraflores neighborhood of Lima. We plan to take a tour of the city, get massages, and eat some delicious ceviche!
