I'm convinced... the preliminary planning has to be the most exhaustive part of coordinating a wedding! We are so excited that things are starting to fall into place. We are exceptionally excited about seeing all of our friends and family on May 4th, 2012. It means a lot to us to have you in our presence as we commit ourselves to God and each other. Looking over our lives, God has truly blessed us with wonderful, friends, family and material items. Both of us will be entering our new union with fully furnished homes. We have more appliances and home décor than we need. The consolidation process will prove to be an interesting one. We plan to sell some items, place some in storage and donate others to charity.
We recognize that a gift is not required or even expected. However, for those of you who would like to bless us beyond your presence, we ask that you contribute to our Honeymoon Registry in lieu of “traditional” gifts.
We have made arrangements to tour the Mediterranean during our honeymoon. We will fly into Barcelona, Spain where we will disembark on a seven day cruise. We will visit Spain, France and Italy. We'll return back to Spain on the seventh day where we will spend an additional few days before returning back to the States.
I've visited Europe once, but it was a whirlwind trip! We crammed a lot of sight seeing into a short timeframe. Cordero has visited several times on business. However, this will be our first tour traveling at our own pace without time constraints or tight schedules.
