Hi everyone!

Oh man, we are crazy excited about our wedding in April! It seems like time is just flying by and before we know it we’ll be surrounded by all of our favorite friends and family as we become husband and wife. We wanted to let you know how much we appreciate all the time and effort all of you are putting in to help make our wedding perfect, and for many of you- that means traveling all the way to Texas. This kind of support and love is really the greatest gift we could ask for.

After our engagement in November, we realized that between the two of us we have most of the essential home items that a new married couple needs…so we decided to register for something we actually DO need: a honeymoon! Cody and I have taken several exciting trips together, and we are very much looking forward to our first real adventure as husband and wife.

We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember our honeymoon gifts for years to come; after all, the memories from this honeymoon will last a lot longer than a new set of dish towels. :)

We'll do our best to document our experience via photo and include it in your much-deserved "thank you" note. Thanks again and we can't wait to see you at the wedding (or earlier!).

We're going to California!

After contemplating long and hard, we finally decided to spend our first week as husband and wife on the open road! Yep, we are renting a refurbished vintage VW Westfalia van and touring California... mountains, beaches, vineyards-- each day ending with husband and wife quietly snuggling next to a campfire. :)

The plan so far is to fly in San Francisco for a few nights of fancy hotels and wonderful dining in the city. After a couple days we'll pick up the camper van and hit the road: beaches, vineyards, Yosemite... here are is our current schedule:

April 28- San Francisco
April 29- San Francisco
April 30- Big Sur
May 1- Carmel
May 2- Yosemite
May 3- Yosemite
May 4- Napa / Sonoma
May 5- Golden Gate Rec area
May 6- San Francisco
May 7- Back home to married life!
