Why Croatia? you may be wondering. Our answer is, why not? It's got the most beautiful coast in Europe, great food, tons of amazing history, and everything else we could ask for in a honeymoon destination.

We'll fly into Split and stay our first night in Trogir. Our first day we will be visiting <a href="http://wikitravel.org/en/Plitvice_National_Park">Plitvice Lakes National Park</a> , which is about a three hour bus ride from Trogir. We are very excited for this day trip, as this park is listed on many travel sites as "a place you have to see before you die."

We'll stay our second night in Trogir before moving on to Hvar, a port town on an island off the coast. Hvar is known for great food, nightlife, and sailing. We are planning to take a sailing trip on one of our days in Hvar and explore some of the rugged islands around the area! We are staying in Hvar for three nights.

Our last stop is in <a href="http://wikitravel.org/en/Dubrovnik">Dubrovnik</a>, a town with an amazing fortress on the water. Hiking, sea kayaking, snorkeling, and swimming are all on the agenda here. And plenty of relaxing time on the beach!
