Hi everyone!
First off, we'd like to say that your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. The time, effort, and expense of traveling to be with us is something we deeply appreciate in our hearts, and we are so thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this happy occasion with you.
Our past few years together have been just as thrilling and while we have traveled quite a bit, both near (Corpus Christi, TX) and far (Istanbul, Turkey); work or a baby belly was always with us and kept us from fully enjoying our little breaks. This time will be different! Longing for beautiful beaches, dynamic cultural influences and great food, Tony and I have revised our travel plans so that we can freely enjoy our special time together in the "largest museum in the world", Rome, Italy! So in January, before the new semester gets going for us, we plan to indulge in brief jaunt to Carlsbad, California. But in July, when classes are not in session, we hope to take in all of the history and awe of Rome. Enjoy it's food and cultural influences and just basically "live it up" while we're there!
Because our relationship has gone down our own unique path, we realize that our house is pretty well stocked with most of the necessary gadgets and gizmos. So we have created a wish list of activities that would make our honeymoon truly unforgettable. We hope you find this registry as a way to help us make our perfect honeymoon come true! We greatly appreciate and will fondly remember these gifts for years to come. After all, the memories from this honeymoon will last our entire lives! However, if you are really wanting to purchase us something with more traditional flair - never fear; we have a registry at Macy's as well at http://www1.macys.com/registry/wedding/guest/?registryId=266797
In either case, we are so thankful for your thoughtfulness and we are so excited to celebrate our wedding with everyone in Memphis on October 12, 2013! See you soon!
We're going to Ergife Palace Hotel, Rome, Italy!
Modern and old, past and present go side by side, all the time.
Whether you are in Rome for 3 days, 3 weeks or 3 months, be prepared to step into the world’s biggest open air museum.
You can decide to follow the typical tourist paths or you can be luck or brave enough to go off the usual tracks. One way or the other, Rome will seduce you and it will hardly leave you indifferent. It will surprise you, like a beautiful middle aged woman that has still plenty to offer and whose beauty is just been merely blurred by time passing by.
Rome is one of world's most photogenic cities - not surprising when you remember what's here - The Vatican, the Trevi Fountain, St Peter's Square, Spanish Steps, Colosseum...
Whether you spend your time sightseeing, or lazing in cafés watching the world go by, it will be your turn to feature in your very own Roman Holiday.
It will be a long time coming, but we can't wait!!
