Hi Everyone!

We can not put into words how flattered and humbled we feel by the amount of generosity and support shown to both of us since our engagement! Although we have chosen a less traditional route, we will have each and every one of you with us in our hearts on that very special day in August when Elvis pronounces us husband and wife!

When asked by many "how the wedding planning is going", Beth is quick to assure people that the extent of her planning consists of deciding which songs our impersonator will sing during the ceremony and whether or not to actually consider the pink Cadillac, fog machine and strobe lights that our Vegas wedding planner keeps assuring us will "thrill our guests". Of course they will - what true Vegas wedding wouldn't be complete without an Elvis bobble-head wedding cake topper (and yes, that item also makes the list of "must have's" according to them). So, with all things considered it seemed logical and obvious that we would have a very explicit "no gifts" policy this time around for our wedding and just enjoy this special time with a few friends and most importantly, each other. However, it was our good friend Lisa Mays, who (in true Lisa style) said it best when she said "Well, you will want to register somewhere or else you're going to end up with 15 crystal picture frames". Haha, brilliant!...and that got us thinking.

Mark and I have always discussed the dream of traveling to Vietnam. It is a part of the world neither of us is familiar with and its mystery has added to the intrigue for us. We finally decided to make it a goal in the next few years to find our way over there. We have had a lot of amazing things happen to us in the time that we have known each other with clearly the most important thing being the fusion of such a wonderful family. Between the two of us, plus Ethan (17), Maya (13) and Chloe (9) our schedule is filled with lots of amazing and exciting events in the years to come. While we would love to shoot over there fresh out of Sin City, we have decided that we are treating this trip as a "1-year Anniversary" / "Vow Renewal" trip for the year after we get married.

As you will soon see, the items on our registry are pretty basic. Quite honestly, we couldn't think of a better way to spend our time with each other than doing just that....relaxing in paradise doing a whole lot of "nothing".

So please keep in mind, we certainly do not expect any gifts but if you are looking to an alternative to a crystal picture frame, we would be humbled to have you donate to our little trip across the world to a place we have dreamed about.

Thank you so much! All of our love to all of you!

Ok...This is most likely where we will be spending the majority of our time. There's really no way to skirt around it so we were overly cautious on the "quantity" in this category. (Hey! The 50 is the TOTAL between the two of us!)
